Canton Fair, established in 1957, is held every spring and autumn in Guangzhou, China. Canton Fair is a comprehensive international trading event with the longest history, the largest scale, the most complete exhibit variety, the largest buyer attendance, the most diverse buyer source country, the greatest business turnover and the best reputation in China.
137th Canton Fair scheduled to open on April 15, 2025 From April 15 to May 5, three phases of five days each will be held to exhibit different categories of products. Please pay attendtion to the category you are looking for and plan your trip wisely.
Phase I (April 15th -19th, 2025): key categories on display include: Electronics & Appliance, Manufacturing, Vehicles & Two Wheels, Light & Electrical, and Hardware
Phase II (April 23th - 27th, 2025): key categories on display include: Housewares, Gifts & Decorations, Building& Furniture
Phase III (May 1st - 5th, 2025): key categories on display include: Toys & Children Baby and Maternity, Fashion, Home Textiles,Stationery, Health & Recreation

If you are planning to participate in the Canton Fair, there are some things you need to pay attendtion to.
For your convenience and to save your time, overseas buyers are encouraged to pre-register, collect Buyer Badge in advance and at alternative places rather than at the Canton Fair Complex.
Pre-registration Tim: January 24th to May 5th, 2025
Pre-registration Method:
Overseas regular buyers (who have attended the Fair onsite) can complete pre-registration through Canton Fair official email, Canton Fair APP or Buyer Service System on the Canton Fair official website.
Overseas new buyers (first time to attend the Fair onsite) can complete pre-registration and apply for Overseas Buyer Certificate through Canton Fair APP or Buyer Service System on the Canton Fair official website.

Overseas buyers of the 137th Canton Fair usually apply for M-word business visas, which are usually valid for no more than 90 days.
Guide on Invitation Application
If you need to apply for a visa and need an invitation letter, you can apply for the 137th Canton Fair invitation through the Buyer Service System on the Canton Fair official website (buyer.cantonfair.org.cn) from January 24th to May 5th, 2025. People who is under the age of 18 can't apply invitation.
For overseas regular buyers, enter the Buyer Service System, register or log in to your BEST Account, and then apply for an invitation letter.
For overseas new buyers, you may not have the BEST Account, please register first, then log in with your account. After login, apply for a Buyer Badge, the Canton Fair Invitation will be generated at the same time when submitting the Buyer Badge application.
Click "Invitation Letter"→"My Invitation Letters" on the left-side menu bar, and then you can view, print or download the Canton Fair invitation.
Note: The number of invitation letter applications is limited, please ensure that the submitted information is accurate.

Visa Waiver Countries
Nationals of 38 countries including Brunei, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Holland, Malaysia, Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Australia, Poland, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Slovenia, Slovakia, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, Korea, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Malta, Estonia, Latvia, Japan holding valid ordinary passports can be exempted from visa requirement if entering into China for the purpose of business, tourism, family or friends visits, exchange and transit. They can stay in China for no more than 30 days without visa.
Foreign nationals eligible for a visa waiver do not need to declare in advance to Chinese embassies and consulates before entering China without a visa.
Before arriving the Complex, overseas buyers can collect Buyer Badges for free at alternative registration offices in Guangzhou after pre-registration.
Airport, Railway Station & Ferry Terminal with Registration Service
Guangzhou Baiyun Intemmational Airport: You can collect Buyer Badges at the Buyer Registration Offices in Terminal 1 and 2 between April 12th and May 2nd, 2025.
Guangzhou South Railway Station: You can collect Buyer Badges at the Buyer Registration Offices at East and West Entrance, Floor 1 of the station from April 13th to April 16th, April 21st to April 24th, April 30th, and May 1st to May 2nd, 2025.
Pazhou Ferry Terminal: You can collect Buyer Badges at the Buyer Registration Offices at Arrival, Floor 3 from April 14th to 18th, April 22nd to 26th, April 30, and May 1st to May 2nd, 2025.

Buyer Registration Office in Hong Kong
Buyers can apply for Overseas Buyer Badge throughout the year at the Buyer Registration Office in Hong Kong. For more details, please visit //hk.cantonfair.org.cn.
Buyer Registration Offices at the Complex

Service Time: April 12th to April 19th, April 22nd to 27th, April 30th, and May 1 to May 5th, 2025.
Public Transportation: You can take the Guangzhou Metro Line 8, Xingangdong Station A exit to the Canton Fair A Zone Pavilion; Pazhou Station A or B exit to the Canton Fair B Zone Pavilion; Pazhou Station C exit with 300-meter walk to the Canton Fair C Zone Pavilion. You can also take the Guangzhou Bus No. 229, 239, 262, 304, 582, 763, 988, University City Line 3, Tourist Sightseeing 1, Tourist Bus Line 3, B7 fast, etc. to the Pavilion.
From the Airport: From Baiyun Airport, you can take Guangzhou Metro Airport S/N Station and take the Metro Line 3 northern extension, get off at Tiyu Xilu Station, transfer to Line 3, get off at Kecun Station, transfer to Line 8, and get off at Xingangdong Station or Pazhou Station. You can also take the airport express at Terminals T1 or T2.
From the Railway Station: From Guangzhou South Railway Station, you can take the Metro line 2 to Changgang Station, transfer to line 8 at Xingangdong Station or Pazhou Station. From Guangzhou East Railway Station, you can take Metro Line 3 North Extension to Tiyu Xilu Station, transfer Metro Line 3 to Kecun Station, transfer Metro Line 8 and get off at Xingangdong Road Station or Pazhou Station. From Guangzhou Railway Station, take Metro Line 2 to Changgang Station, transfer to Metro Line 8 to Xingangdong Road Station or Pazhou Station.
Taxi: To go to Zone A, tell the driver to go to "Gate 6 of Zone A of Canton Fair Complex”or "Exit A of Xingangdong Metro Station". To go to Zone B, tell the driver to go to "Gate 4 of Zone B of Canton Fair Complex" or "Exit A of Xingangdong Metro Station", or "Pazhou Metro Station, Exit A". To the C area, tell the driver to "Canton Fair Complex, Area C, South Gate" or "Pazhou Complex, Area C, Gate 14".
Bus Routes: During the Canton Fair, three customized bus routes will be operated, including: Canton Fair Complex-Asia International Hotel, Canton Fair Complex-Guangzhou East Railway Station, Canton Fair Complex Station-University City Metro North Station, which will provide businessmen and part-time interpreters with transportation services from the Complex to hotels and transportation hubs, University City point-to-point travel service.
